I notice, that my grphiccard often overheats with nouveau-driver and I have to switch off my Notebook. And if I try to install nvidia-current, my jockey shows the message: nvidia-current activated but not in use. But this nouveau-driver is not solution for the future, because of melting graphiccard.

And what I also found out is, that nvidia-current-modaliases is a direct dependency of nvidia-current. But of nvidia-current-modaliases being a lower version than nvidia-current, these two packages conflickt with each other and this causes nvidia-current not to work in Ubuntu 11.04 as well as in LinuxMint 11 Katya
