Comment 85 for bug 771788

hi people,

the problem that causes this error is, that the versions of nvidia-current and nvidia-current-modaliases are not fitting to each other. My synaptic shows nvidia-current with this version: 270.41.19-0ubuntu1~xup~natty. In Contrary to this, the package nvidia-current-modaliases still is on version 260.19-26-0ubuntu1~xup!!

As you might see, these versions do not fit to each other. So the package nvidia-current-modaliases needs an update, because it is a direct dependency of nvidia-current!!! Please fix this up guys!!!

And this bug not only affects Ubuntu Natty, it also affects LinuxMint 11, Kubuntu, Lubuntu and Xubuntu too. Please corretc this in your list of affected distros. Thank you!!!
