how did you install the proprietary Nvidia-driver?? Via jockey-gtk or via
the control-center?? or did you manually download and install it?? Or do
you still use the opensource nouveau-driver?? This nouveau-driver should
better not be used!! This will kill your GPU, because the GPU-temperature
comes
by far too hight with that opensource nouveau-driver. That's why I
recommend the proprietary one.
For me, it is like that, that jockey still reports a wrong output in
natty. But the driver itself works according to the checks, which are
recom-
mended in the links, I had posted before. The results I got on my machine
correspond to the once shown on these links and temperature of the
GPU has come down since some weeks, since I installed this proprietary
driver through the control-center.
