This also affects me on lubuntu and I think it is a serious usability problem. Having to enter admin password is a confusing and unnecessary step for a average user and will make them annoyed. What is more is at least on lubuntu there seem to be no way to change so the default is to make a connection only for your user not all users.

The first thing a user will see is a scary message asking for administrator password to change for "all users" and it will make no sense for systems with only one user and also it makes no sense since no where in the interface did it say that it will create a connection for all users before showing the password screen.
