This is because n-m uses gnome-keyring.

So there are two options IMO:
a) n-m no longer uses g-k
b) g-k has the option to no encrypt the passwords it stores.

I also would like not to necessarily enter a password just after login into my session. If I've logged in, it's because I'm able to enter to my network, so there is no need to ask me again for the password.
