Why is this targetted to 13.04 beta 1? Should I get that the priority for this has changed?
What are the specific use cases that changed the importance for this bug?
Perhaps it would be possible to special-case USB net devices and avoid them autoconnecting, forcing a user to click on a connection to enable it, but I'll need to look at the code with more attention to figure this one out.
