I've had the same problem for a long time now (since edgy, maybe before) but I believe I managed to find a temporary solution. Before I go on, I must say that NetworkManager 0.6.5 **did not** fix the issue for me.
But then I noticed that my logs always mentioned something about IPv6 near the place where the re-connects were occurring. So I decided to try turning off IPv6 by editing /etc/modprobe.d/aliases, changing the line...
alias net-pf-10 ipv6
...to...
alias net-pf-10 off ipv6
...then I restarted the computer.
It's been running fine for 2 days now. Given that the re-connects used to happen every 15 minutes or so, it appears that it's all fixed now.
