Unfortunately this bug is still alive and kickin' in the current 7.04 beta (Feisty).

These disconnections do not usually interfere with network use, but it's an annoying issue anyway. Is anybody working on fixing this?

After some more testing I am more ready than ever to blame network-manager for this; I have used kwlan (which uses wpa-supplicant directly) for the wlan configuration for some time and I got 100% reliable wlan connectivity with that setup.

System info. etc - see the first comment in this bug. Tested version of network-manager: 0.6.4-6ubuntu2.
