Comment 40 for bug 64173

I've recently reverted back to the network manager package offered by Fionn after he explained the process of forcing a version in synaptic. Setting the timeout to 30000 (30sec) has prevented disconnects (completely so far). Is there a public forum where we can ask stupid questions about the patch and other possible solutions so people like myself aren't cluttering official bug reports? linuxquestions.org maybe?
