Binary package hint: network-manager

Ubuntu Karmic RC

I cannot connect to my home wireless network, which is encrypted with WPA2. Connecting worked fine in Jaunty. Neither Network Manager nor WICD are able to make a connection. According to daemon.log, it fails at Stage 4 of 5, Configure Timeout.
Procedure:
1. Boot Ubuntu from LiveCD
2. Click on Network Manager applet.
3. Select WPA2-secured network from list.
4. Network Manager should attempt a connection, then fail.
