I have the same problem than Eddie with stable feisty release and network-manager-pptp
When I am NOT connected to the VPN, my /etc/resolv.conf is :
# generated by NetworkManager, do not edit!
search ndomain.XXXXX.XXX
nameserver XX.XXX.XXX.XX
nameserver XX.XXX.XXX.XX
When I am connected to the VPN with option "peer DNS through tunnel" /etc/resolv.conf looks like this :
# generated by NetworkManager, do not edit!
I think normal behaviour should be :
when I am connected to the VPN with option "peer DNS through tunnel" /etc/resolv.conf should look like this :
# generated by NetworkManager, do not edit!
search ndomain.XXXXX.XXX
nameserver XX.XXX.XXX.XX
nameserver XX.XXX.XXX.XX
