Bug Description
Binary package hint: network-manager
I am a member of the Ubuntu Uruguay community . In www.ubuntu.org.uy many users are asking how to connect the 3G modems in order to use the services of the local ISPs: ANCEL - CLARO - MOVISTAR. The network manager wizard lets you configure the connection graph for the local ISP but can not navigate because DNS does not work. The network manager overwrites /etc/resolv.conf and delete the DNS or put bad DNS and not work. I hope this will be resolved for Ubuntu 9.04 because many new users are not able to run modems and desist from using Ubuntu.
Thank you,
Marcelo

if you go to connection editor and check the "IPv4" tab for your mobile broadband connection, does it list the right DNS server there?
