I seem to have same issue running karmic
broadcom sta driver
inspiron e1405
linksys wrt54g and occured on unknown netgear at someone elses house
drops all computers off of wifi(xp eeebuntu xbox) although i seem to have access to routers from wifi but no other computers or internet, the router lost all connections to directly connected computers as well through web interface i tried pinging local computers and nothing. Unplug router and plug back in gets everything going again.
Seems to occur more often under high network load.
Although I Listened to pandora all morning nothing....this afternoon try to stream video and poof everyones internet goes down

Anything other info I can give i would be happy to
