This is one thing I never understood. The policy of leaving things
broken when there are known fixes is never something I can agree with in
a still "supported" release. If the fix is causing regressions, it is
also causing them in Jaunty and Karmic. If the fix requires a version
rev, and that is against policy, we need to have a method of exception
for that policy. But just leaving it broken really bothers me.
