This has all been verified with Hardy. If the problem with my wireless
network will go on until friday, I will be able to test this also with
Intrepid.

Step 1: I connect to the house wireless network, which currently
provides local access only, using NM 0.7
Step 2: Still using NM 0.7, I connect to a GSM network using a Vodafone
modem. This network provides Internet access.
Result: NM 0.7 is now connected to both Networks, the tray icon displays
the "connected to wireless network" status.

Actual result: NM is not able to understand if the network provides
internet or local only access. Moreover, it uses the wireless network
connection by default over the GSM one.
The net result is that while the wireless network is activated, I cannot
access the web (even if the system IS connected to the internet via
GSM). This applies to all Ubuntu programs, from cli to graphical ones.

Expected result: since only one of the two networks provides internet
access, I would expect NM to understand which one does, and use that
network to connect to the internet. E.g. under Windows Vista the
connection manager is able to understand which networks provide internet
access and which local only, and uses the right one.

I hope it is sufficiently clear. :-)
