" ifconfig wlan0 down" shows errors
wlan0: error fetching interface information: Device not found
ran ifconfig without any arguments... it listed out eth0 and eth1...
I included
" ifconfig eth0 down"
and
" ifconfig eth1 down"
I have a neat shutdown now
