I tested the packages in the PPA, but it didn't really solve the problem: I was able to connect once (and I really don't know why...), but all other trial failed.
In the output of dmesg, I can see that the authentication is repetitively timed out (about every 10s). The main difference in the behaviour of NM is that it did not repetitively ask for a password anymore...
