$ cat /etc/passwd | grep avahi
avahi:x:104:112:Avahi mDNS daemon,,,:/var/run/avahi-daemon:/bin/false
avahi-autoipd:x:114:127:Avahi autoip daemon,,,:/var/lib/avahi-autoipd:/bin/false

Was the first thing I checked, only 'ps' is reporting it like that. Other tools like top, htop, and gnome system monitor all correctly show the right user instead of just the UID
