Comment 1 for bug 243154

Mysteriously neither the wired nor the wireless connections now work! My /etc/network/netfaces only has entry for lo. I've tried amending it for a static eth0 but no good. The network manager applet shows connection wirelessly with the appropriate addresses set correctly (i.e. for ip, route, broadcast, DNS).
