Testing out Intrepid on my laptop here. I get this annoying pause every time I shutdown.

[462.892018] CIFS VFS: Server not responding
[462.892047] CIFS VFS: no response for cmd 50 mid 9

I do have a samba share automatically mount on boot up with /etc/fstab entry:

//192.168.1.2/Music /media/music_server smbfs credentials=/home/clickwir/.smbpasswd,uid=clickwir,gid=clickwir 0 0

And the share works fine. But shutting down is painful.

Again, this is Kubuntu Intrepid from a recent install of Alpha 5 cd. All updates applied as of this post.

Anything I can do to help resolve this, I'm no expert but I'm willing to do what I can to help.
