Good news: It works now! No problems to connect to an WPA encrypted network!

At least for my installed Gutsy. For the live-cd (daily-build from yesterday) I have to reactivate network and wireless and activate it again. After that I was able to connect to my WPA network.

Tested with my Dell Inspiron 6400 with Intel 3945 wireless.
