The duplicate status is wrong.
1) My bug concerns all modem, not only Huawei E1762.
2) Solution #20 doesn't solve the problem.
3) Complex solution by first resetting USB port, then resetting NM is not a solution. Could you image to by force, let say, every 60 minutes to reset wireless card and than to reset NM to keep Wi-fi connection ?
4) On Windows systems problem doesn't exist. It is Linux specific problem.
