I'm just a little concerned that I can't configure wireless using *network-admin* (System==>Administration==>Network) (as opposed to NetworkManager/nm-applet). I just don't seem to get the actual connection (though there is no UI that tells me that).

This is how I interpret this bug -- network-admin does not work(?) for configuring wireless -- one must use NetworkManager(?). Also, I think bug 124052 -- "network-admin/nm-applet disparity confuses users" -- is highly valid.

Why would I want to use network-admin for configuring wireless, when NetworkManager works well?

1) Because I want to configure wireless (using GUI) so that it uses WPA with static IP -- not possible with NetworkManager 0.6.5.

2) Because "I can" -- the UI indicates it should be possible.

Anyway, NetworkManager 0.7 will _hopefully_ be released in time for Hardy Heron. If that works out well, the whole network-admin part of gnome-system-tools can be removed, because all functionality in network-admin will be included in NetworkManager.. right? Is that the plan? That would be just beautiful :-)
