I just did a fresh install of elementary OS on my desktop PC. Now I have the same issue.
I had eOS installed a few days ago, and everything worked normally. Before I reinstalled, I had Xubuntu 12.10, where everything worked aswell.

My laptop also works flawlessly and is running eOS aswell.
