This seems to exist still in the intrepid release version.
Nm-vpnc connects correctly, but the routing tables aren't changed so the vpn-tunnel is used as default-route.
Via vpnc(-connect) this works fine. I experienced this on 2 new installations of ubuntu 8.10 final.
With nm-vpnc 0.6.4svn2422-0ubuntu5 (on hardy) everything is working fine, only the new version is affected.
