Onlymee: thanks for the info. A clarification: nm-ppp-starter.c doesn't exist in the source tree for version 0.6.4. And by your definition the NM in Feisty is "old": there's no 'dict' in nm-vpn-service.c.

I think we should push Feisty's network-manager-pptp to version 0.6.4 with the above trivial patches, to avoid this crasher on AMD64.
