It worked fine. As I use split networking, there's one thing I had to do which was to mark the "never-default" checkbox in the NetworkManager config, but as I'm upgrading from 20.04 LTS there was perhaps a behavior change that I hadn't noticed. The rest, split DNS etc works as expected. Thanks again!
