Arkady, please update to network-manager-gnome 1.2.0-0ubuntu0.16.04.4 (in xenial-updates since 2016-09-06) and try to verify this bug again.

If you can't update using Software Updater, use the terminal:
sudo apt update
sudo apt full-upgrade
