Bug Description
Binary package hint: netspeed
until this weekend (week 9) netspeed applet was working fine.
now it stopped exhibiting the speed for wired.
wifi, 3G and lo still works

The 'greyed out' Network device combo-box is due to:
gtk_widget_ set_sensitive( applet- >network_ device_ combo, !applet- >auto_change_ device) ;
The setting is controlled by the "Always monitor a connected device, if possible". Un-ticking this option will enable the Network device combo-box.
