Extending the waiting time for DHCP netcfg/dhcp_timeout=120 (installation option) or ensure portfast is activated on the gigabit swtich will ensure dhcp works out properly. Otherwhise this happends on my x86_64 arch in both virtual and physical environments.
Effectively swthing into a shell on screen 2 I could find 2 instances of rdnssd:
10240 root 8696 S rdnssd -f -u root -r /tmp/rdnssd_resolv
10241 root 10796 S rdnssd -f -u root -r /tmp/rdnssd_resolv
Killing the first one allowed the installer to continue.
Having similar problem.
