Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubuntu-
I have not seen any reference to this yet, so I thought I would report. I have been testing the Karmic Netbook Remix in VirtualBox and trying out the configuration that I currently use with Jaunty NBR.
I have noticed that when the background is changed to a solid color instead of an image file, the background changes to white instead of the color shade selected in the Appearance/
The text is still a legible white on gray, but the background is white.

Confirmed - I accidently removed the wallpaper and saw this effect as well, even though the background color was set to a color other than white.
