I have this same bug, but the "sticky" menu is Accessories, and the icons are faded somewhat but still clickable; the icon spins as if it was the active menu.
I've attached a couple of screenshots plus glxinfo output and my Xorg log. The second is in false colour because the faded icons are hard to see.
Don't suppose it helps but I noticed this just after waking from hibernation.
My device is an Advent G10, which is really a rebadged MSI Wind.
