As above, but even when the disc is ejected via software button the same problem occurs. I think the problem lies with the file manager having problems handling the cdda file format, but I am not sure of it. If the system (64 bit Mint 17.1 in my case) can handle files on a music disc inserted in an optical drive once after booting the computer, it seems reasonable to think that it ought to be able to do so again without having to reboot.

The initial error message is as stated above:

Could not display ccda://sr0/

The first retry results in this message:

Unable to open a folder for Audio Disc
Cache invalid, retry (internally handled)

Subsequent retries return this one:

Could not display ccda://sr0/
The location is not a folder
