I'm a little disconcerted that this bug has been around for so long, and yet that it is still marked as low priority. Sure, it's not a crasher, but any application that is using 100% CPU is a big problem, in my opinion.
The solution for this seems pretty obvious and easy to program. I wonder if we can get it nominated for the 100 papercuts, or somehow get it triaged for the next release?
