Nautilus' Copy Dialog freezes when it copies big files from FTP.
I've tried to copy 2 jpegs (~1mb) and it freezes...

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue? I have noticed that the bug persists in Natty. Although the coping is working in the background the dialog doesn't give any feedback whatsoever with files a couple of GiBs in size.

My Webservice Provider offers only a very flaky connection. If the connection is lost during copy operation the copy dialog stays were it is. If I press the "Stop" sign the sign itself will change to ghosted but nothing else happens, i.e. the copy dialog still stays on the screen without anything happening. Reconnecting to the server does not help. I need to log out and log in again to get a clear desktop.
