It is still there, but has changed slightly:

- I boot my computer with an encrypted memory stick attached. According to lsusb the memory stick has been recognized but unlike an unencrypted media it is not mounted
- I remove the stick and attach it to the USB port another time. It is instantly mounted, and works fine.
- I suspend the computer. Unlike about a month ago the mount point of the stick doesn't disappear, but if I enter a directory there and try to read it (i used the ls command for doing this) i get a
ls: reading directory .: Input/output error
so suspending still doesn't work. 2 minutes later the desktop icon's name of the memory stick changes from the label of the filesystem to "7.9GB encrypted media".
- Unmounting the stick still doesn't remove its /dev/mapper/something entry
- and if I remove and plug in the stick again I am instantly asked for the password but mounting it doesn't succeed.
