I have the opposite problem in Feisty. I have a USB device with multiple partitions (CoolerMaster enclosure with NTFS/FAT32/NTFS partitions) and I do actually want to Eject it. Right-clicking on one of them and selecting the Eject menu item does unmount all of the partitions (good), but they then re-mount within a couple of seconds before the device can be disconnected (bad).
