Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

This bug concerns Hardy and Jaunty, maybe all releases of Ubuntu.

Nautilus crashes when I close a window of Nautilus after I ask for the properties of a file of this windows but before it opens.

Ubuntu 8.04.3 LTS:

$ nautilus --version
GNOME nautilus 2.22.5.1

$ dmesg
[ 5913.245974] nautilus[6157]: segfault at 206c6f72 eip 4735e149 esp bfb127e0 error 4

After the crash Nautilus restarts automatically.

Ubuntu 9.04:

$ nautilus --version
GNOME nautilus 2.26.2

$ nautilus
(nautilus:6096): Eel-CRITICAL **: eel_timed_wait_stop: assertion `wait != NULL' failed
(nautilus:6096): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: instance with invalid (NULL) class pointer
(nautilus:6096): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_signal_handlers_disconnect_matched: assertion `G_TYPE_CHECK_INSTANCE (instance)' failed
** (nautilus:6096): CRITICAL **: nautilus_file_unref: assertion `NAUTILUS_IS_FILE (file)' failed
Erreur de segmentation

After the crash Nautilus doesn't restart.

Backtraces in attachment.

I hope my english is correct.
