This is on Ubuntu 9.04 (both 32 and 64 bit versions)

to reproduce simply drag any file (not folder) to the users bookmarks on the sidebar (this only occurs on the bottom where documents, music, pictures, etc. are located). While dragging, nautilus will give the option to either move the file to one of the bookmarks or give the option to move the file in between the bookmarks which does nothing (since you are dragging a file not a folder).
