#1 NAVIGATE TO SYSTEM>ADMINISTRATION>SYSTEM MONITOR
#2 IN THE PROCESSES TAB THERE WILL BE 2 INSTANCES OF NAUTILUS END THEM BOTH
#3 REOPEN NAUTILUS
p.s. please linux users practice giving proper instructions to save people time.
example:

I wrote handy-capable instructions so people new to linux get it, like how to get to system monitor not just open system monitor
another p.s. if you are a linux pro and had to come here to find this solution from a windows developer extend you arm all the way and slap your self :P
