I can confirm this bug too.
Trying to connect through "Places->Connect to server" gave me the same error message:
Could not display "smb://IP/shareddocs/".
Error: DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.InvalidArgs: Mountpoint Already registered
Please select another viewer and try again.

However this command worked:
sudo mount -t cifs //ip/shareddocs /media/network

As for gvfs-mount, I don't know how to use it.
