Still same problem on a fresh install from Ubuntu 24.04 LTS "Noble Numbat" - Daily amd64 (20240324)

Listing... Done
nautilus/noble,now 1:46~beta-0ubuntu3 amd64 [installed,automatic]

problem does not disappear deleting .cache/thumbnails/fail
