Bug Description

Narrative: I boot into a live Lubuntu operating system -- either 22.10 or 23.04; bug is the same in both -- and open up the terminal where I run 'sudo apt update && sudo apt install nautilus' Next I use the "Superkey + R" keyboard shortcut to open up the dialog to run a program. I run 'nautilus' and two windows open, both for the Home directory. The two windows are identical except they are visually separated from one another slightly on the screen. Expected behavior is to open just one window to my home folder.

Currently I'm running Lubuntu 23.04 but same bug happens in Lubuntu 22.10
$ lsb_release -rd
No LSB modules are available.
Description: Ubuntu 23.04
Release: 23.04

Source package is presumably 'nautilus'

$ apt-cache policy nautilus
nautilus:
  Installed: 1:44.0-1ubuntu2
  Candidate: 1:44.0-1ubuntu2
  Version table:
 *** 1:44.0-1ubuntu2 500
        500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu lunar/main amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

I expected running nautilus to open up one window to my Home directory but instead it opens two.

Wow, this one's weird. Some observations:
 1. It only happens once.
 2. It also happens if you click on the menu entry instead of using the runner.
 3. Doesn't happen if you run `nautilus` in terminal.
 4. The Exec line of the desktop file is `nautilus --new window`.
 5. Doesn't happen if you run `nautilus --new window` in terminal.

Don't have any clue how one fixes or where it's coming from exactly, but I suspect that desktop file is somehow involved.
