nautilus throws error during copying file

Bug Description
When copying a file from a remote samba resource I get an error "Error when copying <filename>", more information: "Error during file splitting: input/output error". The problem occurs only in the Nautilus file manager, copying by the terminal or by another file manager works properly without error.
I use Ubuntu 18, packages associated with nautilus:

Thank you for your bug report. Does it happen on any share/file or only on specific ones? Can you copy using "gio copy ..." or does that hit the same issue?
