Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

If I have a folder and I delete it, nautilus silenty deletes it, without worrying whether it has some content in it or not.

I think that in the case the folder has something in it, nautilus should warn the user about deleting a folder _with content_.

Frankly stupid- it should just silently delete the files, if that is my preference. Ok, then the reason suggests that there should a corresponding option somewhere in the preferences.
Actually this bug is not that stupid. What's stupid is that somebody "fixed" this bug, and now it is impossible to delete a non empty folder. As a result in order to delete a folder that has 500 inner populated folders you have to empty the 500 damn folders first - file management usability at its best. Why am I still trying to use linux? Why?
