Comment 7 for bug 13592

I am using Hoary with backports as a client with Debian Unstable as the SAMBA
server, and show the same symptoms.

I'm presented with an authentication dialogue for shares that aren't homes, but
not the homes share.
None of my Windows clients show any problems connecting to any share.

If I specify the username in the nautilus 'connect to server' dialogue I can
sometimes login. I've not been able to reproduce it in any way that's meaningful
to me, but I don't know that much about samba.

I'll be more than happy to help figure out this bug.
