Enola, this bug report is 'Re: Shouldn't put .Trash-$USER on removable devices' so if you're device is not removable you should be commenting on another bug than this one. As for the undeletable items - try emptying the users .Trash directory as root and see if that fixes it. Either way this bug is not the place for your problems, please open a new bug or support request if you need to.
