Comment 11 for bug 1017232

As of the current master git this crash doesn't occur on 12.10 as previously described & or as in comment #9
The latest version has moved Bookmarks (edit), to the app menu, checked in both unity & gs

I gather in a week or so there should be another Ubuntu package release, can be rechecked then
