If there is something available in release X and then comes an update Y, like 7.10 and 8.04, and there are features missing in new release which were available in previous release, then it is a regression bug. Such a bugs should always have high priority.
Marking regression as "wishlist" is, in my opinion, not a fair move from users' perspective, it should be fixed as soon as possible.
