Bug Description

nautilus-python 1.2.x can compile with python 3 support using PYTHON environment variable, see https://bugs.debian.org/911082

nautilus-python 1.2.2-1 from Ubuntu 18.10 still builds against python2, but python3 is default since Ubuntu 17 AFAIK

Thanks for reporting.

nautilus-python 1.2.2-3 in Ubuntu Focal builds against Python3 now. It still contains a python2 package as well, but that seems to be temporary based on the changelog (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus-python/1.2.2-3). From what I understand, the goal is to ship Ubuntu 20.04 without Python2.
